Dr. Marshall Kavesh Dr. Marshall Kavesh, Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Marshall Kavesh is the Chief Executive Officer of European Computer Telecoms AG (ECT). One of the three founders of the company, he runs the company in his capacity as Chairman of the Executive Board.

Dr. Kavesh has worked in IT and telecoms for over 20 years. Before taking up his current position, he established two companies, Red Shepherd Software GmbH (which developed database systems) and Red Shepherd Translations GmbH (a translation agency specialising in technical translation and software localisation in more than 20 languages). Both of these were set up in 1994. Prior to this he spent several years designing systems software and CTI systems.

Dr. Hans Huber Dr. Hans Huber, Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Dr. Hans Huber is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at European Computer Telecoms AG (ECT). Also one of its three founders, he is responsible for developing technical concepts for intelligent value-added services.

Dr. Huber was a co-founder of Red Shepherd Software GmbH, which developed database systems. Here he was in charge of product development. In 1997 he and Dr. Marshall Kavesh developed prototypes of the next-generation switching systems now used successfully by ECT.

Walter Rott, Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Walter Rott is the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) at European Computer Telecoms AG (ECT). Also one of the three people who originally founded the company, he is responsible for creating infrastructure solutions, developing everything from general ideas right up to customised applications.

Walter Rott has worked in the telecoms industry for more than 20 years. Before taking up his present position, he was in charge of the international software development team at Siemens AG (1995 - 1998). Here in the Interwork Unit (IWU) components were developed for the Hicom system. Prior to this, he was involved in the planning and development of new features for the Hicom 300 digital PBX at Siemens.
