Sunrise UPC Launches its New Collaboration Solution

"Thanks to the Sunrise Business Collaboration option, companies can transform their way of working without having to invest in a completely new collaboration solution," said Robert Redeleanu, Chief Business Officer at Sunrise. "The existing Sunrise landline number is automatically integrated into the communication software." Sunrise Business' newest service, Sunrise Business Collaboration, is certainly making it easier for small- to medium- sized companies to work together.
Sunrise UPC, part of Liberty Global, is the largest privately held telecommunications company in Switzerland. They are the leading providers of mobile, internet, TV and fixed-line services to private and business customers. Its Sunrise Business Collaboration option is the most recent example of how communications service providers can differentiate their services by offering their own workstream collaboration tools.
Sunrise Business Collaboration combines a variety of communication tools in a single platform, including landline calling, instant messaging, e-mail integration, conference calls and call recording. Users have access to a single piece of collaboration software for modern and efficient teamworking across a range of communication channels – whether on their desktop, laptop, smartphone or tablet. Sunrise Business Collaboration doesn’t just make communication simpler and more flexible; it makes it more secure too: Sunrise Business Collaboration runs on Sunrise servers – for maximum security.
Sunrise UPC's new service expands the telephone system, which offers full integration for certified SIP and analog phones, to include modern communication channels. The system is managed via the web browser, which makes it easy to add new team members, locations or additional features. With a collaboration app (available both for iOS and Android), users can also collaborate with each other from any location. The presence indicator displays the real-time availability of contacts.
With a monthly cost of 6 EUR (6 CHF) per user, Sunrise Business Collaboration allows companies to benefit from a subscription model with the biggest possible range of features at an attractive cost-benefit ratio.
For more information, go to Sunrise Business Collaboration product page today announced that, together with a local partner, it has won a tender process and signed a multimillion-euro contract for the provision of telecoms services to one of the leading communications service providers (CSPs) in Eastern Europe. The CSP, part of a large multinational telecoms group, chose ECT to migrate their value-added services (VAS) portfolio to a state-of-the-art, virtualized solution deployed within their new 5G network.
